Aerobic Performance
Experience un-chartered territory in this hi/lo (MINDMUSCLE moves) excursion in a one hour class. Become conscious of your movements as you go through an easy to follow cardiovascular workout. Among the recognized benefits of doing regular aerobic exercise are (1) Strengthening the muscles involved in respiration to facilitate the flow of air in and out of the lungs; (2) Strengthening and enlarging the heart muscle to improve its pumping efficiency and reduce the resting heart rate known as aerobic conditioning; (3) Strengthening muscles throughout the body and improving circulation efficiency and reducing blood pressure; and (4) Improving mental health, including reducing stress and lowering the incidence of depression.
Cycling
Don't want to be yelled at, work at your own pace? This cycling class offers a great cardio workout without the impact to your bones and joints. No complicated footwork, just athletic authentic cycling indoors. Besides being a great form of aerobic activity (burning between 400-600 calories in 40 minutes), indoor cycling is also beneficial in strengthening the muscles of the lower body. It tones the quadriceps and hamstrings, along with working the back and hips.
Extreme Training
Stuck in a rut? Go with this boot camp style of exercise utilizing anaerobic and aerobic thresholds to increase performance. Push yourself at your own level with different high intensity activities lasting mere seconds to 2-minute drills. This 1 hour class challenges the most athletic while giving a safe, fun and effective workout to the general participant.
